I believe the answer is:

cashier

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'dismiss' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'employee always putting their hand in the till' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'hand' could be 'r' (abbreviation for right, as in the right-hand side) and 'r' is found in the answer.
'till' could be 'cash' (I've seen this before) and 'cash' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'ie' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

(Other definitions for cashier that I've seen before include "one taking money" , "Bank employee" , "Person dealing with money" , "One handling money" , "employee accepting money" .)
