I believe the answer is:

seasonable

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'appropriate for the time of year' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'marine against wearing fur' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'marine' could be 'sea' (both can mean 'of the sea') and 'sea' is found in the answer.
'against' could be 'on' (on can mean by or up against) and 'on' is found in the answer.
'fur' could be 'sable' (sable is a kind of fur) and 'sable' is located in the leftover letters.
No letters remain.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for seasonable that I've seen before include "Appropriate for the time of year" , "welcome" .)
