Crossword Genius

Square sail made from short garden tool behind shower curtains (9)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

moonraker

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'square sail' is the definition.
'moonraker' can be an answer for 'sail' (type of sail). I am not sure about the 'square' bit.

'from short garden tool behind shower curtains' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'from' could be 'o' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'o' is present in the answer.
'tool' could be 'rake' (rake is a kind of tool) and 'rake' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

'made' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for moonraker that I've seen before include "Book" , "Wiltshireman" , "James bond novel" , "James Bond film" , "Small square sail" .)

I've seen this clue in The Times.
