Where you might go for a drive by the coast? (4,5)
I believe the answer is:
golf links
'where you might go' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I don't see how one could define the other.
'drive by the coast?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'drive' could be 'go' ('go!' could mean 'drive!') and 'go' is found within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'for a' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Another definition for golf links that I've seen is " Seaside leisure facility".)
