A comfortable location for a flower-filled plot (3,2,5)
I believe the answer is:
bed of roses
'a comfortable' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'location for a flower-filled plot' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'location' could be 'bed' (bed is a kind of location) and 'bed' is present in the answer.
an anagram of 'for' is 'ofr' which is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for bed of roses that I've seen before include "Easy life" , "wherein Peace may flourish?" , "Comfortable place" , "thorny position?" , "Comfortable situation (unlike life?)" .)
