I believe the answer is:

church parade

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'a military turnout for one of' is the definition.
I know nothing about this answer so I can't judge whether it can be defined by this definition.

'services' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'services' could be 'church' (church service is a kind of service) and 'church' is present in the answer.
The remaining letters 'parade' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'the' is the link.
