According to the radio, both of us will do circles in the air (5)
I believe the answer is:
wheel
'air' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot understand how one could define the other.
I don't understand how the remainder of the clue works.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for wheel that I've seen before include "Gyrate" , "Circular frame - old instrument of torture" , "Change direction as if on an axis" , "Turn in a wide circle" , "A unicycle has one" .)
