Acting the part of the Western traveller? (2,5)
I believe the answer is:
on stage
'acting' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'part of the western traveller?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'part' could be 'stage' (I have seen 'Part of journey ' mean 'stage' so perhaps 'part' could also mean 'stage') and 'stage' is found within the answer.
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is found in the answer.
A single letter 'n' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'the' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for on stage that I've seen before include "for an audience to watch?" , "playing a part?" , "Performing" , "in a play?" , "performance" .)
