All those on stage thrown off (4)
I believe the answer is:
cast
'thrown off' is the definition.
'cast' can be an answer for 'thrown' (I've seen this before). I'm not certain of the 'off' bit.
I don't understand the rest of the clue.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for cast that I've seen before include "Get rid of" , "Select actors for play or film" , "Team of actors in a play" , "Shed - actors" , "Complement of actors in a play" .)
