Crossword Genius

Another man's warmth? (5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

therm

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'warmth?' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I cannot see how one could define the other.

'another man's' is the wordplay.
'THERM' is hidden in amongst the letters.
However, I'm unsure how the hidden word is indicated.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for therm that I've seen before include "Indicator of heat" , "Unit of heat energy" , "Unit of heat and gas measure" , "Unit of heat used in the UK as the basis of gas bills" , "Unit of heat as in gas supply" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
