Approximately part of a fight (6)
I believe the answer is:
around
'approximately' is the definition.
(I know that approximately can be written as around)
'part of a fight' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is found within the answer.
'a' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'rund' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for around that I've seen before include "Somewhere in the vicinity" , "Somewhere near" , "On all sides or near" , "Present; approximately" , "Here and there, sounds circular" .)
