Are all you can think of before you move into (9)
I believe the answer is:
preoccupy
'move into' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their base form, I can't see how one could define the other.
'are all you can think of before you' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'you' could be 'u' (homophones) and 'u' is present in the answer.
'of' could be 'o' and 'o' is found in the answer.
'before' could be 'e' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'e' is found in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Another definition for preoccupy that I've seen is " Fixate".)
