Arm, maybe, one in society (6)
I believe the answer is:
member
'arm maybe' is the definition.
(I know that arm is a type of limb)
'one in society' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'one' could be 'me' (a setter might use 'one' to humourously mean 'me') and 'me' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for member that I've seen before include "As an example, arm" , "constituent" , "One belongs to a society" , "One of a group or club" , "Component part; associate" .)
