Authentic Anglo-German (4)
I believe the answer is:
echt
This clue could be a double definition.
'authentic' is the first definition.
(I've seen this before)
'german' is the second definition.
(I have seen 'Authentic German' mean 'echt' so perhaps 'german' could also mean 'echt')
'anglo' is the link.
I am not very happy about this link. It may belong to one of the definitions.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for echt that I've seen before include "Authentic and typical" , "Really" , "Genuine - authentic" , "True" , "Genuine (German)" .)
