Authentic English pulp (5)
I believe the answer is:
puree
This clue could be a double definition.
'authentic english' is the first definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't understand how they can define each other.
'pulp' is the second definition.
(I have seen 'Smooth pulp ' mean 'puree' so perhaps 'pulp' could also mean 'puree')
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for puree that I've seen before include "Liquidise (vegetables etc)" , "Vegetable pulp" , "Liquidised food" , "Fruit pulp" , "process" .)
