Base weaver from Shakespeare (6)
I believe the answer is:
bottom
This clue might be a double definition.
'base' is the first definition.
(I've seen this before)
'weaver from shakespeare' is the second definition.
'bottom' can be an answer for 'weaver' (Bottom the Weaver from A Midsummer Night's Dream). I'm not sure about the 'from shakespeare' bit.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for bottom that I've seen before include "Rump" , "far end" , "Crack" , "MND weaver" , "Weaver < 's backside" .)
