Be patient and share my suffering (4,4,2)
I believe the answer is:
bear with me
'be patient' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'and share my suffering' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'and' could be 'with' and 'with' is found within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for bear with me that I've seen before include "as Christopher Robin might have mentioned?" , "patience? - with 22a" , "Please wait a minute ..." , "Antigonus' plea" , "Be patient (as I tell you something)" .)
