I believe the answer is:

strand

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'the beach' is the definition.
(beach can mean to become stranded on a beach)

'bear right to enter' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'right' could be 'r' (common abbreviation) and 'r' is found in the answer.
'bear' could be 'stand' (bear can mean to stand or endure) and 'stand' is found in the leftover letters.
No letters remain.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for strand that I've seen before include "Stretch of sand" , "Thread; leave in lurch" , "Single hair; drive ashore" , "Leave in helpless position" , "Drive (ship) aground" .)

I've seen this clue in The Globe and Mail.
