Bound to take over room (6)
I believe the answer is:
lounge
'room' is the definition.
(I know that lounge is a type of room)
'bound to take over' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'over' could be 'o' (cricket abbreviation) and 'o' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'lunge' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for lounge that I've seen before include "Comfortable room - relax in it" , "Sit or recline comfortably" , "Living-room" , "Living area" , "Recline lazily; room" .)
