Bovine aggressor? (5)
I believe the answer is:
bully
'aggressor?' is the definition.
(I know that bully is a type of aggressor)
'bovine' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'bovine' could be 'bull' (bull is a kind of bovine) and 'bull' is found in the answer.
A single letter 'y' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for bully that I've seen before include "Tinned beef" , "Playground thug" , "Flashman, say" , "Well done" , "Very good" .)
