Broadcasting session unstarted after the speaker keeled over (8)
I believe the answer is:
emitting
'broadcasting session' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both to do with communicating as well as being present participle verbs.
Perhaps you can see an association between them that I don't see?
'unstarted after the speaker keeled over' is the wordplay.
'unstarted' becomes 'itting' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'after' says to put letters next to each other.
'the speaker' becomes 'me'.
'keeled over' is a reversal indicator.
'me' backwards is 'em'.
'itting' put after 'em' is 'EMITTING'.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for emitting that I've seen before include "Giving out" , "Making a sound" , "Issuing" .)
