Building brick which might keep the wind out? (6,5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

breeze block

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'building brick' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'might keep the wind out?' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'wind' could be 'breeze' (breeze is a kind of wind) and 'breeze' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'block' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

'which' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for breeze block that I've seen before include "Building brick" , "Large light brick" , "part of a build-up?" , "Lightweight brick" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
