Calm again in more ways than one (6)
I believe the answer is:
serene
'calm' is the definition.
(I know that calm can be written as serene)
'again in more ways than one' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'again' could be 're' (prefix meaning 'again') and 're' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'sene' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for serene that I've seen before include "Calm and unclouded" , "Impassive" , "still" , "Tranquil, perfectly calm" , "Not agitated" .)
