Calm and positive after the Spanish exam (6-4)
I believe the answer is:
eleven-plus
'exam' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'calm and positive after the spanish' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'calm' could be 'even' (I've seen this in another clue) and 'even' is present in the answer.
'and' could be 'plus' and 'plus' is present in the answer.
'the spanish' could be 'el' ('the' in Spanish) and 'el' is present in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Another definition for eleven-plus that I've seen is " School exam".)
