Cambridgeshire pub following certain code from the start? (8)
I believe the answer is:
innately
'from the start?' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'cambridgeshire pub following certain code' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'pub' could be 'inn' (an inn is a type of pub) and 'inn' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for innately that I've seen before include "How kids react" , "from birth" , "Naturally, inherently" , "Inherently, instinctively" .)
