Crossword Genius

Celestial object as backwards rotation (6)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

saturn

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'celestial object' is the definition.
'Saturn' can be an answer for 'object' (Saturn is an example). I am not certain of the 'celestial' bit.

'as backwards rotation' is the wordplay.
'backwards' shows that the letters should be reversed in order.
'rotation' becomes 'turn' (I've seen this in another clue).
'as' backwards is 'sa'.
'sa'+'turn'='SATURN'

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for saturn that I've seen before include "Titan its moon" , "The second largest planet" , "Giant planet" , "Sixth rock from the sun" , "Roman god - gas giant" .)

I've seen this clue in The Daily Express.
