Celt moving east to west in storm (4)
I believe the answer is:
gael
'celt' is the definition.
(I know that Gael is a type of celt)
'moving east to west in storm' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'east' could be 'e' (abbreviation) and 'e' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'gal' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for gael that I've seen before include "Highland Scot" , "Celt of Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and the IOM" , "Scottish highlander" , "Celtic language speaker" , "Irish speaker?" .)
