Charm your way in? (8)
I believe the answer is:
entrance
'way in?' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'charm your' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'charm' could be 'trance' (synonyms) and 'trance' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'en' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for entrance that I've seen before include "Cast a spell on" , "Beguile" , "Coming onto the stage" , "Send" , "Captivate on way in ?" .)
