Cold? Not even slightly so (6)
I believe the answer is:
chilly
This clue could be a double definition.
'cold?' is the first definition.
(I know that cold can be written as chilly)
'not even slightly so' is the second definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't see how they can define each other.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for chilly that I've seen before include "Of weather, cold and icy" , "not warm" , "Unfriendly; coldish" , "Rather cold" , "Appreciably cold" .)
