Constantly heard in every direction (6)
I believe the answer is:
always
'constantly' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'heard in every direction' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'direction' could be 'way' (synonyms) and 'way' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'als' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for always that I've seen before include "Perpetually" , "Invariably" , "Habitually" , "Forever, without interruption" , "At all times" .)
