Country areas where rooms can be had (5)
I believe the answer is:
moors
'country areas' is the definition.
'moors' can be an answer for 'areas' (I have seen 'wild areas' mean 'moors' so perhaps 'areas' could also mean 'moors'). I am not certain of the 'country' bit.
'rooms can be had' is the wordplay.
'rooms' anagrams to 'MOORS'.
But, I am unsure how the anagram is indicated.
'where' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for moors that I've seen before include "Berths" , "wild areas" , "Open heathlands" , "Ties up a boat" , "Ties up (vessel)" .)
