I believe the answer is:

rum baba

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'full of booze' is the definition.
The answer and definition can be both things that one consumes for nourishment as well as being singular nouns.
Perhaps they are linked in a way I don't understand?

'dance with bachelor a pudding' is the wordplay.
'dance' becomes 'rumba' (rumba is a kind of dance).
'with' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'bachelor' becomes 'B' (abbreviation e.g. BA=Bachelor of Arts).
'pudding' indicates anagramming the letters (a mixture or pudding of the letters).
'b'+'a'='ba'
'ba' with letters rearranged gives 'ab'.
'rumba' enclosing 'ab' is 'RUM BABA'.
