I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'apartment' could be 'flat' (synonyms) and 'flat' is present in the answer.
'dating?' could be 'goingout' (as in dating or going out with someone) and 'goingout' is present in the remaining letters.
No letters remain.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
