Deceived and transported (5,3,1,4)
I believe the answer is:
taken for a ride
'deceived' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'transported' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'transported' could be 'taken' (taking is a kind of transporting) and 'taken' is found within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'and' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for taken for a ride that I've seen before include "Duped" , "Fooled" , "The car's passenger, on a trip" , "given spin?" , "Swindled" .)
