Derive satisfaction from renovated teak organ (4,5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

take heart

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'derive' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are verbs in their base form, I can't understand how one could define the other.

'satisfaction from renovated teak organ' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'teak' is 'take' which is present in the answer.
'organ' could be 'heart' (the heart is an organ of the body) and 'heart' is found within the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

I've seen this clue in The Times.
