Determined to find clue answer corrected (8)
I believe the answer is:
resolved
'determined' is the definition.
(resolving is a kind of determining)
'clue answer corrected' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'answer' could be 'resolve' (synonyms) and 'resolve' is present in the answer.
A single letter 'd' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
'to find' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for resolved that I've seen before include "Decided, determined" , "Settled, decided" , "very firm" , "Settled; determined" , "tackled crossword again?" .)
