Dispatch note to Cons (5)
I believe the answer is:
haste
'dispatch' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'note to cons' is the wordplay.
'note' becomes 'te' (musical note).
'to' says to put letters next to each other (I've seen this in other clues).
'cons' becomes 'has' (I can't explain this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'te' put after 'has' is 'HASTE'.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for haste that I've seen before include "Hurriedness" , "Rash speed" , "Rapidity" , "Inconsiderate speed" , "The more of it, the less speed sometimes" .)
