Doesn't move remains from place (5,3)
I believe the answer is:
stays put
'remains from place' is the definition.
'stays put' can be an answer for 'remains' (I've seen this before). I am unsure of the 'from place' bit.
'doesn't move' is the wordplay.
'doesn't' becomes 'stays' (I can't explain this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'move' becomes 'put' (putting is a kind of moving).
'stays'+'put'='STAYS PUT'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for stays put that I've seen before include "Remains" , "anchored" .)
