Doing nothing now cuts likely? Not entirely (2,2,1,5)
I believe the answer is:
up to a point
'not entirely' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'doing nothing now cuts likely?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'doing' could be 'upto' (as in 'what are you up to?') and 'upto' is found within the answer.
'nothing' could be 'o' (looks like zero - 0) and 'o' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for up to a point that I've seen before include "Partly, not wholly" , "in part" , "Not entirely" , "how cones taper" , "How intellectual's head goes" .)
