Crossword Genius

Done with wearing winter clothes? (7,2)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

wrapped up

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'done with' is the definition.
(thesaurus)

'wearing winter clothes?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'clothes?' could be 'wrap' (wrap is a kind of clothes) and 'wrap' is found within the answer.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for wrapped up that I've seen before include "Warmly clothed" , "Put warm clothes on" , "settled completely" , "in warm clothing" , "Finished" .)

I've seen this clue in The Sunday Times.
