Ross

I believe the answer is:

dante

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'drawn at' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't see how they can define each other.

I cannot understand how the rest of the clue works.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for dante that I've seen before include "Author of the Divine Comedy, d. 1321" , "22 [FT SETTER]" , "Great Italian poet of 'The Divine Comedy'" , "La divina commedia poet" , "Finally stand before" .)

I've seen this clue in the Sydney Morning Herald.
