Drink left aboard (4)
I believe the answer is:
port
This clue could be a double definition.
'drink' is the first definition.
(I know that Port is a type of Portuguese wine)
'left aboard' is the second definition.
'port' can be an answer for 'left' (left side of a ship - opposite of starboard). I am not sure about the 'aboard' bit.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for port that I've seen before include "Dessert wine" , "Sweet red wine for after dinner" , "After-dinner wine" , "Left side of ship - red wine" , "Anchorage" .)
