Dry, for a drink? (7-4)
I believe the answer is:
alcohol-free
'dry' is the definition.
I don't know anything about this answer so I can't judge whether it can be defined by this definition.
'drink?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'drink?' could be 'alcohol' (alcohol is a kind of drink) and 'alcohol' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'free' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'for a' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Another definition for alcohol-free that I've seen is " Not intoxicating".)
