Exclude some from Italy (4)
I believe the answer is:
omit
'exclude' is the definition.
('omit' can be a synonym of 'exclude')
'some from italy' is the wordplay.
'some from' becomes 'om' (I can't justify this - if you can you should believe this answer much more).
'italy' becomes 'it'.
'om'+'it'='OMIT'
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for omit that I've seen before include "Neglect to include" , "Skip" , "Leave out or undone" , "Leave out, do not include (4)" , "Leave out, perhaps in error" .)
