Expected to catch cold, being lean (7)
I believe the answer is:
incline
'being lean' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)
'expected to catch cold' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'cold' could be 'c' (eg on taps) and 'c' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'inline' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for incline that I've seen before include "lean forward" , "Bend forwards" , "Have tendency or slope" , "prejudice" , "Have a tendency to do or be something" .)
