Express disapproval about a chore (4)
I believe the answer is:
task
'a chore' is the definition.
(I know that chore can be written as task)
'express disapproval about' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'about' could be 'a' (abbreviation in Chambers) and 'a' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'tsk' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for task that I've seen before include "Difficult piece of work" , "Allocate work" , "Job of work" , "something to do" , "Set piece of work" .)
