Favouring a job in public relations (3)
I believe the answer is:
pro
'favouring' is the definition.
(I've seen this in other clues)
'a job in public relations' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'public relations' could be 'pr' and 'pr' is located in the answer.
A single letter 'o' remains which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for pro that I've seen before include "Of argument, say, in favour of" , "gets paid to play?" , "hooker" , "For; non-amateur" , "Preposition meaning for, in favour of" .)
