Feeling out of sorts in your armchair and uncomfortable? (3,2,4)
I believe the answer is:
ill at ease
'uncomfortable?' is the definition.
(being ill at ease is being uncomfortable or uneasy)
'feeling out of sorts in your armchair' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'out of sorts' could be 'ill' (I've seen this before) and 'ill' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'atease' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'and' acts as a link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for ill at ease that I've seen before include "Unable to relax" , "Elite, alas? (Anag)" , "Fidgety" , "Nervous, uncomfortable" , "Unsure and constrained in manner" .)
