Feline killer? (9)
I believe the answer is:
curiosity
This could be a double definition.
'feline' is the first definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I don't understand how one could define the other.
'killer?' is the second definition.
(I have seen 'Killer of cat' mean 'curiosity' so perhaps 'killer' could also mean 'curiosity')
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for curiosity that I've seen before include "25 28 [MARS LANDER]" , "Proverbially, it killed the cat" , "Something unusual (that killed the cat?)" , "Killer of cat" , "Inquisitiveness" .)
