Fight with animals turning up right away (3-2)
I believe the answer is:
set-to
'fight' is the definition.
(I know that set-to is a type of fight)
'animals turning up right away' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'right' could be 'set' (setting is a kind of righting) and 'set' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'to' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
'with' is the link.
Can you help me to learn more?
(Other definitions for set-to that I've seen before include "Altercation" , "Ready - fight" , "brush with violence?" , "Fight, argument" , "Scrap" .)
